The Troth Button Down Shirt is fashioned from the finest Japanese cotton available. This unique wearable art proclaims pride in and love for all things Japanese. The cotton is distinguished for it’s soft and airy touch. Selected for its strength and luxury, it uses eight strands of cotton in each thread to create a cotton stretch fabric. The Troth buttons are painstakingly handmade in Niigata by talented Silversmiths. The embroidery of the Troth Emblem which is sewn in Isesaki, Gunma, is of the highest Japanese quality. We use two different kinds of black thread in sewing the Emblem, a glossy rayon thread and a natural cotton thread to achieve a three dimensional quality. Your Troth Button Down shirt will be delivered in a handmade Kiri Box from Fukuoka in Kyushu, the same boxes used for tea bowls.
